I've had my issues with InStyle Magazine covers in the past (see here and here) but this cover really scares the hell out of me. Those eyebrows are just terrifying. They overwhelm Ms. Knightley's delicate face, and I refuse to believe they were there during the original shoot. No, those eyebrows had to be photoshopped in. I don't even think they used the photoshop program, they put those in with a Sharpie marker.
Please do not emulate these disaster brows. While I don't agree with people lightening their hair at home (leave highlights to the professionals), you can easily lighten your eyebrows at home using a facial hair bleach. Make sure to leave the bleach on for the shortest possible time (you can always reapply), and aim for a couple shades darker than the hair on your head.

I KNOW! I saw that cover and was like...DANG! Not only are they way too dark, but their not even somewhat symetrical. Grant, most eyebrows are more "sisters" than "twins", but this pair are way off the mark! As a former MAC makeup artist, bad brows are my biggest pet peeve... so I hear ya on this one!

I subscribe to InStlye and I like this actress but this photo? Seriously bizarre. Trashed it after one day because I didn't want to see it on the coffee table.

In this picture, she's raising her left brow it seems...making it look assymetrical. However I happen to love thick eyebrows. They're not bushy or uncombed but natural-looking. And the fact that they're thick make a statement on her face, contrasting to her petite and delicate features.

I think it's her eye lids that are making her borws look weird too. One eye you can see the lid and the other eye you cant. Little wonkish.

I think her eyebrows are just beautiful. You people are just critizizing because you have nothing else to do.

her eyebrows look just fine...it's probably something she's doing for the magazine

I dont understand people like you, you make money out of your incredibly biost comments and remarks... Keira, for example, you have taken several fairly nice pics of her and raked the sh*t out of them so that you can, some how, make yourself feel slightly that bit better. Keira is a genuinly nice person with a wonderful personality towards those who support and encourage her.

Keira ALWAYS rises one eyebrow. I've never seen a single photo where she doesn't._

No, it's completely photoshop. Look at the BLATANTLY dislocated head on the right page.

She is absolutely stunning, let's see some pics of some you people doing the criticizing here so that others can rip you apart. Don't you have anything better to do?? There are far more important things going on in this world, get a life.

OMG she's naturally beautiful- does it actually matter if she doesn't want to look fake and have small, dyed eyebrows? It is actually quite sad critisizing someone because of their eyebrows :/ i totally agree with holly

Well, that look funny! She look strict in these photos, but I might say she still has a beauty outside. Thank you and keep posting.

Keira Knightley and I have very similar bone structure. For the record, that jawline works if you've got an actual nose to balance it. Oh, and teeth that aren't funny looking. The rest of our bone structure is pretty similar too. Sadly, both of us are slender enough for me to tell.

I think Keira Knightley has beautiful eyebrows; I wish more women would leave their natural eyebrows alone(with minor trimming) instead of creating a "permanent look of astonishment"(Robin Williams' turn of phrase).
