Christina Ricci: A Plea For Bangs

I haven't seen Christina Ricci in a movie in a while.  I had assumed that her forehead swallowed her whole, and from these pictures I'm not far from the truth.

When your forehead can be classified as real estate, fringe and/or bangs are a very good idea.  Yet somehow, I barely see Christina with bangs.  Does she consider her forehead a trademark feature, or does she just want to be recognized by the mothership when her species lands on earth?  With her great set of eyes and adorable nose, a nice set of fringe would draw attention to these attractive features and cover up the billboard up north.

To give you an idea of how fantastic Christina would look with bangs, I've used my fantastic and elusive photoshop skills to illustrate.

With some choppy, razored fringe, Christina would look edgy and beautiful.  With the side-swept bangs (which I borrowed from bang enthusiast Jennifer Love Hewitt), Christina would look polished and classy.  And best of all, she won't look like such a ridiculous alien.  Please Christina, consider your bang options, the Bad Hair Czar is begging you.

Christina Ricci wore a fringe in Grey's Anatomy. I didn't recognize her. She looks prettier with a fringe. I agree with you. Her forehead should be covered. It draws too much attention. She has wonderful eyes. She should draw the attention there and not to her forehead.

Christina Ricci doesn't wear bangs more often because she *can't* precisely BECAUSE of her tall forehead. Your Photoshop examples are obviously not serious attempts, but ironically they demonstrate exactly why bangs are a problem for her: They invariably make her look like a bald guy w/a desperate comb-over. There a few shots out there of her w/bangs and they're ALL bad.
What DOES work for her is hair mostly back, but w/a few long strands or rings of curls over her face or just to the side. This provides some framing and perspective for her big, round, beautiful face. There are many examples of this on the web, and she looks great.
IMHO she does tend to wear ALL her hair pulled back too often.

i think she looks beautiful whatever she decides to do with her hair, anything she does will make her look more beautiful than before. so all those people taking the piss just because she has a "big" forehead, should shutup and appreciate her for her brilliant skills as an actress
